This CD is an outgrowth of several workshops designed to promote the use of GIS within UNL's Department of Agronomy and Horticuture. The CD provides a comprehensive Nebraska geodatabase of ESRI shapefiles and grids, three agronomic ArcView projects, map files (.tif and .pdf), ArcView learning materials and support information on a variety of spatial topics. The projects make use of digital soil survey information, climate normals, NASS (National Agricultural Statistics Service) data (crop yield and progress and soil moisture), a digital elevation model and terrain modeling. This CD is designed for extension educators, agricultural geographers, consultants, researchers, USDA agencies, producers and students who are interested in geospatial analysis.
