The department of Agronomy and Horticulture employs experts across a wide range of fields. This has led to the development of six 'peer groups' of faculty members with similar interests. The peer groups strive to ensure that the three branches of a land-grant university (teaching, research and extension) are well-represented in their specialty areas.
