The University of Nebraska–Lincoln honored 914 faculty and staff for their years of service to the university Oct. 27 at the Nebraska Coliseum. Lunch was served. The program included presentation of awards to the 45-, 50-, and 55-year service award recipients, and “Milestones and Memories,” by Rick Alloway, associate professor of broadcasting in the College of Journalism and Mass Communications. Seventeen Department of Agronomy and Horticulture employees were honored. The annual Service Awards are presented to university employees who complete years of service in five-year intervals.
