Research Interests
Research interests are in the area of agricultural biotechnology, and more specifically in the genetic modification of plants to improve yield, sustainability, environment with an emphasis on drought tolerance. Continued interest in the biochemical study of plant peroxidases with regard to their function and role in plant growth, development, and defense strategies.
