Agronomy and Horticulture co-hosting IANR Tailgate Sept. 28

The Department of Agronomy and Horticulture and Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences are co-hosting an IANR Tailgate starting at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Nebraska Veterinary Diagnostic Center before the Nebraska vs. Ohio State football game.

Participants will have the opportunity to network with alumni, faculty, staff and current and potential students. There will be free food, tours of the Backyard Farmer garden and teaching gardens and Keim Hall, including the courtyard. Plus there will be free parking and free shuttle services to and from Memorial Stadium!

Schedule of tailgate:

2:30 pm: Tailgate begins, featuring:
Agronomy and Horticulture student research and co-curricular activities.
Bios of Agronomy and Horticulture Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award Recipients.

3-5 pm: Tours start every 20 minutes.
Backyard Farmer Garden
Teaching Gardens
Keim Hall (including courtyard)
    
3:30 pm: Shuttle service to game begins and runs through kickoff.
Stadium loading/unloading is at Salt Creek Roadway and Stadium Drive.

6:30 pm: Nebraska vs. Ohio State Kickoff
Tailgate ends

Return shuttle services to East Campus start at the beginning of the 3rd quarter and continue through the end of the game.
