University of Nebraska-Lincoln Department of Agronomy and Horticulture graduate, Gustavo Rodriguez, was honored with the UNL College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Spirit Award at the CASNR Salute to Graduates on May 6. The Spirit Award recognizes a student whose spirit represents the class as a whole.
Rodriguez, who hails from Ravenna, Nebraska, served as president of the UNL Turf Club and was an undergraduate student employee working with Extension Turfgrass Specialist Bill Kreuser. He earned his degree in turfgrass & landscape management and graduated May 7. Rodriguez will be heading to Scottsdale, Arizona as the 2nd Assistant Superintendent at TPC Scottsdale.
