Welcome to the Wortman Research Team in the Department of Agronomy and Horticulture at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Our broad focus is on environmental horticulture and we explore the effects of local conditions and management on horticultural crops and the environment. Our goal is to develop novel management tactics for local, urban, and organic specialty crop farmers that increase yield and reduce labor without jeopardizing environmental quality.
