1. Describe any SPECIFIC CONSERVATION EDUCATION PROJECT(S) OR INITIATIVE(S) that your nominee initiated or completed which qualifies him/her for this award. Be sure to describe the role that your nominee played in the success of this project or initiative. Describe the innovative aspects to the program and how the program focuses on Nebraska-specific wildlife, at-risk species, habitats or ecosystems. Also, please explain how this education project or initiative exemplifies the concepts covered in the Nebraska Natural Legacy Project.

2. Describe how your nominee has ADVANCED OR STRENGTHENED THE FIELD OF ENVIRONMENTAL OR CONSERVATION EDUCATION in Nebraska. If applicable, include how your nominee has worked specifically to strengthen education tied to the NNLP conservation concepts.

3. Describe how your nominee has used the NEBRASKA NATURAL LEGACY PROJECT to engage others in learning about nature, science, ecology and conservation.

4. Describe how your nominee HAS EXCITED students of all ages in the world of natural resources and conservation. How has your nominee INSPIRED OTHERS TO LEARN about nature and participate in conservation actions?

5. Describe how your nominee has developed educational PARTNERSHIPS that bring together diverse groups to accomplish broad initiatives focusing on Nebraska’s natural resources and natural legacy.

6. Describe how your nominee has MENTORED OR SUPPORTED OTHER EDUCATORS OR NATURALISTS in the field of environmental or conservation education.
