All Agronomy and Horticulture staff are invited to an all-staff engagement meeting from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25 in Keim 150.
Hosted by the Staff Advisory Committee, the event will feature speakers sharing insights about their roles in the department, followed by an opportunity for staff members to introduce themselves.
Fran Benne, SAC chair, will welcome staff, discuss her role as a communications specialist and introduce the speakers. Jenny Stebbing will talk about her work as the Havelock Research Farm manager. Collin Eaton is the new Husker Produce Farm manager and he will also discuss his new role with turf. Olivia Meyer will talk about her work in the Plant Transformation Core Research Facility at the Beadle Center, which focuses on sorghum, wheat, soybean and corn.
Pizza will be provided.
