Niranjan Pokhrel is a second year doctoral student in the Complex Biosystems department at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, working under the supervision of Brian Rice. He completed his master’s degree in Horticulture Science at Oklahoma State University. His current research focuses on improving nitrogen use efficiency in maize using quantitative genetics, genomics and high-throughput phenotyping approach.
