Prerequisites:: Senior standing. Cost of travel required. Summer travel course with multi-state faculty. Farm visits to Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska.

Description: This course is focused on an immersive week-long field experience visiting sites and analyzing agroecosystems in NW Iowa, SW Minnesota, NE Nebraska, and SE South Dakota.

  1. Analysis of production, economics, environmental impacts, and social integration aspects of farms and farming systems.
  2. Learning experience for you and stretches you to think more deeply about agriculture and agroecosystems.
