All Department of Agronomy and Horticulture staff are invited to an all-staff engagement meeting from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 24 in Keim 150.
Hosted by the Staff Advisory Committee, the staff-only event will feature speakers sharing insights about their roles in the department, followed by an opportunity for staff members to introduce themselves.
Fran Benne, SAC chair, will welcome staff and introduce the speakers. Elizabeth Jeske will talk about her work as a research technologist I and lecturer in the soil microbial ecology lab. Emily Schmeling will discuss her work as a technician in the soil health program lab. Greg Puckett will present on his work as an extension associate for the Nebraska Extension Pesticide Safety Education Program. Lan Xu will speak about her work as a research manager for the small-grains breeding program lab.
Pizza will be provided.
