Margarito Morales, Department of Agronomy and Horticulture online master's degree student from Fresno, California, earned his degree in May 2023. His research consisted of testing chemical treatments for post-harvest lemon preservation. Lemons were treated with several post-harvest chemicals to determine which treatment provided superior decay and weight loss control. He also conducted research on Integrated pest management of cutworm in agronomic crops and consisted of different methods used to reduce cutworm damage in agronomic crops. He was advised by Don Lee, agronomy and horticulture professor, and Meghan Sindelar, agronomy and horticulture's associate professor of practice.
