Twenty-three employees from the Department of Agronomy and Horticulture will be honored at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s annual Celebration of Service on Oct. 2 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event will honor 870 employees for their years of service to the university.
Lunch will be served to employees who attend, and service awards will be available for pickup. The ceremony will begin at noon and will recognize 11 employees with 45 or more years of service.
The department’s Carol Caha, lab manager and research technologist II, will be honored for 50 years; Ronnie Janssen, ag research technician III, for 40 years; and Connie Hansen, events coordinator, for 35 years.
