Description: This course focuses on investigating biotechnology and its application in solving problems and connecting biotechnology to basic science concepts in biology and chemistry. It also integrates individually-designed biotechnology lessons into learning standards. Prerequisites: Admission to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Successful completion of a minimum of 12 hours of plant science courses.

Course Requirements & Materials:

  • Technical Requirements: Access to high-speed Internet and email with up-to-date browsers and the ability to view videos (recommended browsers are Firefox, Chrome, and Safari)
  • Textbooks: No textbooks required. All course materials are online in Canvas.
