Course Learning Outcomes

As a result of this course, you will be able to:

  • Discuss the basic principles of organic weed management and the tradeoffs of different approaches to managing weeds in the short- and long-term.
  • Interpret and synthesize data from scientific literature to make recommendations about specific weed management methods to organic growers.

Additionally, graduate students will be able to:

  • Create a weed management plan for an organic farm or garden supported by evidence from scientific literature.
