Main Area of Focus

Quantitative Genetics, Genomics, and Plant Breedings

Research Interests

My research interests focus on the betterment, development, and sustainable production of crop plants for their commercial utility by utilizing genomics, quantitative genetics, and breeding approaches. Currently, I am working on sorghum and maize quantitative genetics, genomics, and genotype by environment interactions. In the future, I would like to extend my research and breeding efforts to the commercial utility of various millet crops.
