Charles Wortmann, University of Nebraska–Lincoln agronomy and horticulture professor and Nebraska Extension soil and nutrient management specialist, will retire May 31 after a 20-year career at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

Horticulture Club spring plant sale online, in person Friday, April 23, 2021

At this year's Horticulture Club spring plant sale, the club will offer patio planters and hanging baskets with a few specialty items offered a la carte. The public can preorder plants and flowers online and pay at pickup. For convenience, all preorders will be scheduled for pick up on April 28 or 29 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Teaching Greenhouse West next to Plant Sciences Hall on East Campus at 3850 Center Drive.
