Agronomy students Mangel and Pallas awarded 2015 Western Seed Association scholarships Thursday, February 18, 2016
Dylan Mangel and Cale Pallas, University of Nebraska–Lincoln agronomy majors, were awarded 2015 Western Seed Association scholarships at the WSA Banquet in Kansas City on Nov. 9. The WSA scholarships are awarded based on scholarship and an interest in the seed industry.

Growing Our Future 2015 Conference Wednesday, January 20, 2016
The Department of Agronomy and Horticulture, the largest academic department across the University of Nebraska system, hosted the Growing Our Future 2015 conference on Nov. 6 at the Cornhusker Marriott in Lincoln, Nebraska.The event provided attendees with a glimpse of the department’s many activities, including breakthrough research and student involvement.

Goodding Learning Center to be rededicated Wednesday, January 6, 2016
The Goodding Learning Center, located in 280 Plant Sciences Hall on East Campus, has been transformed into a modern workspace designed to foster digital learning and student collaboration. A rededication, which is free and open to the public, is 3 to 5 p.m. Jan. 15.
