Rheinhardt Scholtz, a University of Nebraska–Lincoln researcher, tracks the advance of trees into grasslands by analyzing data and maps created from the Rangeland Analysis Platform at https://rangelands.app/. He and other Nebraska-Montana EPSCoR scientists developed guidance on the best use of time and money in resisting, accepting or directing tree invasions on grasslands.
