College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources students in Andrea Basche’s spring semester Agronomy 204 Resource Efficient Crop Management class made real-world decisions by planning, planting, cutting and weighing plants in a cover crop challenge. The university conferred 3,490 degrees — a record number — during commencement exercises May 3 and 4 at the arena and the Lied Center for Performing Arts.
